Karen Harrison

Karen began her yogic movement, meditation and healing arts practise early through studies with Tibetan monks, Danny Grossman, Old Medicine Sunshine School lineage of Asokananda, Pichest Boonthumme, KamThye Chow,  Master Teacher Deanna Villa, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hahn, Mama Tata and others in the Thai Healing Alliance International.  She has studied at York University and has a background in anatomy, health science and movement. Rooted in the present moment she holds each person with metta (loving kindness) so that they can unfold in their unique body/mind healing. Her therapy encourages deep healing, total relaxation and restoration.

She is the founder of a Canadian Zen Order and school of Traditional and Indigenous medicine and is an Indigenous Water Walker and healer.

Karen has a Level 6 Thai Yoga Certification and has been a practitioner for 10 years.  She has worked with yogis, professional athletes, musicians like Steely Dan, dancers / performers, autoworkers, nurses and surgeons to help restore and rehabilitate the body & spirit.
